Now hiring: Director of Maintenance Services for Flora Landscape Contractors.

This seat owns our Maintenance division P&L and builds the team for Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Covington.

Hands-on at first, then hire and lead an Account Managers and Production Manager as we grow.
If you've built or scaled a commercial landscape maintenance division and want to own the outcome, let's talk.

No mowing calendar. No August brown-out.
No mud tracked across the bluestone after a Louisiana storm.
Synthetic turf, specified for the way this yard actually gets used.

"You're going to be here for two hours."

A little behind the scenes with the girls who make Flora, Flora. 🌿

It drops off like a cliff.

The client wanted outdoor entertaining. The site wanted to fall away. And the whole area sits in a flood plain, so nothing we built could alter the way water moves through the watershed.

So we brought in an engineer. Six feet tall, six feet out — a cantilevered wall, rebar-reinforced, poured in place. Thirty-five loads of earth behind it, compacted and leveled.

The patio comes next. Then room enough to throw a football.

Ask Xiomara what keeps her here after five and a half years and she'll tell you: the work gets done, and it's a good place to do it. Alongside Oriana, she's the reason a Flora week holds together. Professional. Precise.

(But not without a little fun.)

The finest landscapes aren't planted. They're built — one season at a time.
This one is for a client who understands that better than most.
One of our largest undertaking in years. The whole team behind it.
More soon.

Three things, from the architect who designs them.
The right plants for the place. A crew that builds the vision, not just the plan. The patience to do both well.
Everything else follows.
