Financing has officially closed on Phase IV of Cypress at Ardendale, securing $22.7 million for the next chapter of the community’s growth.

The investment will support the development of 60 additional homes in the 434-home mixed-income community being built in the Capital Region alongside our development partner, The Integral Group.

Cypress at Ardendale is the housing component of the BR Choice Neighborhoods Initiative , a long-term effort to transform the Ardendale community into a place of opportunity and choice.

More than $7 million in renovations are coming to the Baton Rouge airport. The city-parish recently approved permits for the project, which airport leaders say will include improvements meant to modernize the airport and enhance the passenger experience.

Concrete poured. Progress underway. 🏗️

Womack-Tillage LLC is proud to partner with Southern University and A&M College on the construction of its new student housing development, a transformative project that will enhance the campus experience and support the university’s continued growth.

The first phase of the development includes a new four-story, residence hall that will provide 500 beds for freshman and sophomore students. The facility will feature modern living accommodations, study rooms, common spaces on each floor, and dining facilities designed to foster student success and campus engagement. As part of the university’s long-term housing master plan, a future Phase II will add 350 apartment-style beds for upper-level students, creating a total of 850 new student beds.

Construction of Phase I is expected to be completed within approximately 13 months. Womack-Tillage LLC is honored to be part of this landmark investment in Southern University’s future and looks forward to delivering a high-quality residential community that will serve generations of Jaguar students while supporting the university’s continued growth and commitment to student success.

A look at the progress happening at Cohn Elementary🏗️📚

This project will consist of construction of 3 additional classroom buildings adding approximately 60,000 – 70,000 square feet to the school campus. The scope of the project also includes the strategic demolition of existing structures to accommodate the 3 new buildings to be added. The buildings will be comprised of classrooms for elementary and middle school students, a dedicated library building, and a new gymnasium.

Our Senior Project Manager, Matt Jones, is helping lead the Milton J. Womack team on the OLOL Emergency Department renovation, working alongside OLOL and our trade partners every step of the way.

On Saturday, August 1, our team placed a 20-ton custom rooftop air handler unit on top of the OLOL Regional Medical Center Emergency Department project on Essen Lane.

The installation required careful coordination and precision as the unit was lifted into place by crane and positioned on the rooftop. 🏗️
