A fresh start is underway! 🏡

We recently completed the demolition of the existing home and have now prepared the house pad for a beautiful new home we’re excited to build for an incredible family.

“BUILDING TRADITIONS”

A lot goes on behind the scenes before construction ever begins—from planning and demolition to site preparation and making sure the foundation is right. These early stages may not always be glamorous, but they set the tone for the entire project.

Building homes alongside my brother and family makes projects like this even more meaningful. A special shoutout to Wes for the knowledge and expertise he brings to projects like these. His experience is a tremendous asset to our team and our clients.

We’ll be sharing updates and photos as this home progresses, so follow along as we bring this family’s vision to life!

Phase 2️⃣ – Interior Reveal
📍 University Club Plantation

The details matter… and this home is full of them.

Phase 2 of our interior photos showcases the warmth and intentional design that truly makes this house feel like home — layered textures, custom millwork, statement lighting, designer finishes, and spaces created for gathering. Every room was thoughtfully planned, not just to look beautiful in photos, but to function for real life.

What makes this one even more meaningful is who built it.

Traditions Construction isn’t just a company name — it’s our family legacy. My brother and I are carrying forward what our parents started years ago. Being a family business changes everything:

• We treat every home like our last name is on it — because it is.
• Decisions aren’t made for quick profit, they’re made for long-term reputation.
• We care about the families who will live in these spaces — because we’re raising our own families here too.

In a world of big-box builders and fast-track construction, there’s something different about building with people who are personally invested. We walk these jobs daily. We obsess over the details. We answer the phone. We stand behind our work.

More photos coming soon.

PHASE 1 – INTERIOR REVEAL 🏡✨
University Club Plantation

We’re excited to finally start sharing the interior of this custom home we built in University Club Plantation through our family business, Traditions Construction.

This first round of photos highlights two absolute showpieces:

• A stunning two-story curved staircase that makes a statement the moment you walk through the front doors. The craftsmanship, symmetry, and flow set the tone for the entire home.

• A true chef’s kitchen designed for both everyday living and entertaining — featuring custom cabinetry, high-end appliances, and one of our favorite details… intricate metal inlays woven into the tile flooring. It’s those custom touches that elevate a home from beautiful to unforgettable.

Every detail in this home was thoughtfully designed and carefully executed — from structural framing to finish selections — to reflect both luxury and livability.

Exterior elevations were just the beginning…
More interior spaces coming soon in Phase 2 👀

Another proud moment for our FAMILY business!

My brother and I are excited to share the exterior elevations of a gorgeous custom home we built in University Club Plantation.

Built with intention, craftsmanship, and the kind of detail that reflects what our parents started years ago — quality first, always. From the architectural lines and brickwork to the porch design and roof pitch, every elevation was thoughtfully designed to feel timeless and strong.

Interior photos coming next 👀
And we can’t wait to show you the custom finishes, trim details, and design selections inside.

If you’re thinking about building in Baton Rouge or the surrounding areas and want something truly custom — not cookie cutter — let’s talk.

At Traditions Construction, moments like this mean a little more to us.

This bath remodel was completed in a home our parents built over 20 years ago, and getting the opportunity for my brother and I to update it for the next chapter was truly special. Seeing how far the home — and our family business — has come reminds us why this company was started in the first place: quality work, built to last, and done the right way.

As we head into the new year, now is the perfect time to start planning kitchen and bath updates to refresh your home and add long-term value. Whether it’s a full remodel or a simple upgrade, we’d be honored to help.
