One of the things I enjoy most about this business is earning the trust of clients who continue to call us back when they need something done right.

Over the past several months, we've had the opportunity to complete several different projects at Juban's Restaurant. None of them were flashy, but every one of them mattered.

Some of the work involved replacing worn kitchen floor tile in one of the hardest-working areas of the building. We also installed seven new dedicated electrical circuits to help support the restaurant's event space as their needs continue to grow.

The largest project was inside the Hallelujah Bar.

Like many renovation projects, once we opened things up, we discovered issues that couldn't be ignored. Our team carefully removed damaged materials, corrected hidden framing and plumbing deficiencies, installed moisture-resistant wall systems, rebuilt the affected millwork, and restored everything to blend seamlessly with the existing space. By the time we were finished, you couldn't tell where the repairs had been made—and that's exactly the way we like it.

The best construction work often isn't the part people notice. It's the work behind the walls, beneath the floors, and in the details that ensure a space will continue performing well for years to come.

A sincere thank you to the team at Juban's Restaurant for trusting JDM Construction with these improvements. We don't take that trust lightly, and we're grateful to play a small part in helping maintain one of Baton Rouge's most recognizable restaurants.

Final Reveal – Bellingrath Hills (Central, LA)

This one came together FAST… from demo to finished in under 2 days.

We had the opportunity to update this home’s kitchen, 1/2 bath, and fireplace—and the transformation speaks for itself.

✨ New quartz countertops
✨ Updated backsplash
✨ New plumbing fixtures
✨ Electrical outlets replaced in splash
✨ Gas cooktop install
✨ 33” enameled cast iron sink

To tie it all together, we carried the same quartz into the fireplace and 1/2 bath for a clean, cohesive look.

No layout changes—just the right upgrades in the right places… and a BIG difference because of it.

Huge credit to the homeowner for selecting materials that completely brightened and refreshed the space.

A little sneak peek 🫣 from our recent renovation in Bellingrath Lakes!

We swapped out the old granite surround and hearth and carried the new quartz from the kitchen right over to the fireplace to tie everything together.

Same layout—completely different feel!

Simple change, but it really changed the vibe of this living area!!

This half bath got a simple but powerful upgrade—and it completely changed the feel of the space.

Cleaner finishes, better flow, and a look that actually fits the home now.

This home’s exterior was worn out, weathered, and begging for a reset!! So, we quickly got to work and brought some much needed life into these old bones! I’ll keep working on my photography skills 😂 … but I’m pretty confident we nailed this transformation!!

We wrapped up this 1/2 bath, kitchen and fireplace update recently and this one was a fun one to see come together. The clients were amazing to work with and their selection really were top notch!

We pulled out the old countertops, backsplash, and fireplace surround and gave everything a fresh look. New quartz, new backsplash, updated some plumbing and electrical fixtures, and we tied the fireplace surround in to match the kitchen.

Nothing crazy structural—just good, clean updates that made a big difference in the space.

Right in the middle of this transformation…

Once the vinyl siding came off, we found a few areas that needed to be addressed—including some wall sections that had to be repaired before moving forward. Not the glamorous part of the job, but it’s what makes the finished product last.

From there, we got the house wrap and Hardie siding installed and ready for paint. This is where things start to take shape and you can really see the direction of the project.

This one was a big transformation!

We removed roughly 4,000 sq ft of vinyl siding on this home and completely changed the direction of the exterior. New Hardie siding; updated shutters; fresh paint for siding, trim, shutters and stucco; and some miscellaneous lighting changes—all coming together to give it a much more solid, updated look.
