In conjunction with our efforts at Sacred Heart of Jesus School to renovate their new Early Learning Center, Coleman Partners is proud to have hosted a canned food drive to benefit the St. Vincent de Paul food bank located on the school’s campus.

The Sacred Heart food pantry is truly a special service mission that works directly with the surrounding neighborhoods that struggle with food insecurity. Fr. Joshua Johnson and his entire team are true difference makers in the city of Baton Rouge.

Thanks to the team at Baton Rouge Area Foundation and AC A.C. Lewis YMCA for kind words! We are very proud of the work and outcome poured into this one for our community!

In the latest edition of Currents, "Making Waves in Mid City: The YMCA’s Modern Transformation" highlights how the Capital Area YMCA leveraged its Organization Fund at the Baton Rouge Area Foundation to bring a new 30,000 square foot A.C. Lewis branch to life in Mid City.

The story explores how the project builds on the Foster Drive location’s long standing legacy as a place for water, wellness, and connection, while creating new space for families, children, and community life to thrive. It also reflects the coordinated civic leadership behind the effort, including partnerships with Bearing Point Properties, Womack Builders, Coleman Partners Architects, and BRAF.

We are incredibly honored to have worked alongside an extraordinary team of partners to bring The Inspiration Center to life.

This project is so much more than a building, it’s a place of hope, opportunity, and possibility for Baton Rouge youth. Knowing that this space will help shape futures, spark creativity, and open doors for the next generation makes this work deeply meaningful to us.

This coming Monday, we’ll celebrate the building's ribbon cutting, a powerful moment when the doors officially open and children are welcomed into the building for the very first time, beginning what will be a lasting impact on the community.
