A bittersweet update from the Patterson team 💛

Cassidy joined us right out of college a year and a half ago, and she’s now moving on to pursue a new career direction. Whether she was guiding clients through selections, giving tours of The Suites, or keeping our buildings running smoothly, Cassidy has been a huge part of our team and our clients’ experience. We’re so grateful for everything she’s poured into PCG and The Suites, and we can’t wait to cheer her on in this next chapter. Cassidy, thank you!

We’re hiring a Digital Content & Property Coordinator to support Patterson Construction Group and The Suites. This role is a great fit for someone who:

• Loves creating content and telling a brand’s story on social media
• Enjoys working with people, from homeowners making selections to stylists touring their future suite
• Is organized, proactive, and comfortable wearing more than one hat
• Wants to grow with a small, fast-moving company
• Experience in social media, property management, leasing, real estate, or construction is a plus, but not required

Before you hire a builder, ask who they use as subcontractors. It’s one of the best ways to gauge the quality of the work you’ll get.

Almost all of our subs are owner-operators, so the owner is on site while the work is being done, or even doing the work themselves. The people responsible for the work and craftsmanship are the ones actually on the job site.

That means fewer mistakes, and if an issue does come up, you know the owner will be right back on the job making it right💪🏼

Football season is almost here… is your outdoor living space ready?🤔

Last spring we remodeled our own outdoor kitchen and game room and turned it into an outdoor living area that everyone can enjoy — even in the Louisiana heat and humidity. Retractable screens and a 5-ton AC unit means we can enjoy being outside with friends and family no matter what the weather is doing.

It’s hands down one of the best decisions we’ve made. It’s the perfect place for hosting or even just a hangout spot, especially during football season. This is your sign to upgrade your outdoor living area or incorporate one into your custom plans👆🏻

Ready to build a custom home? Our biggest piece of advice is to start with your builder, not an architect.

It’s important to meet with a few builders and find your top contenders before you start designing. This will help you design a set of plans that you love, without blowing your budget.

Going the design-build route makes it easier on both ends. The client gets what they want with transparent pricing, and the builder is involved in every discussion and detail throughout the process.
