My perfume dream is finally bottled!

Meet the first small batch of my fine tuned Fae Hollow perfumes version 2.0: Dawn, Wildflower, Firefly, and Moonlight.

Each one has its own personality—Dawn is crisp and bright, Wildflower is lightly floral and beachy, Firefly is fresh, nostalgic and woodsy, and Moonlight is warm, velvety and romantic.

One of the things that mattered most to me when creating these was keeping the formulas beautifully simple. Rather than filling them with a long list of unnecessary extras, these are hand-blended with essential oils, aromatic oil blends, and perfumer’s alcohol. That’s it. No need to hide what’s inside behind a mysterious ingredient list.

I wanted perfume that could still feel beautiful, luxurious and special while staying true to the way I make things here at Fae Hollow—thoughtfully, simply, clean and in tiny batches.

I only made three bottles of each to begin with, and seeing this little collection finished makes me ridiculously happy. 🥹 And Moonlight’s naturally deep amber glow? I could not have planned anything prettier.

Small batch. Hand blended. Botanical-inspired. A little wild, a little romantic, and very Fae Hollow. ✨

Find them at Natural Bridge Farmers Market this Saturday or at Rockbridge Community Festival next Saturday! Or just message me if you’re interested!

Forgive the exhausted face! (I had exactly ONE hour of sleep!) But we are officially doing market stands!

You can find us most Saturdays at Natural Bridge Farmers Market but we will be making appearances at the Mountain Day Festival and Rockbridge Community Festival and a few others.

We have tons of product (all organic and herbal and wonderful!) and my daughters can be found selling their gorgeous wares as well!

The girls have each started their own little small business. GlowBug is handmade jewelry and BearRoots is handmade gem and bead wire trees.

I could not be more proud!

I made something free for you!

One of the hardest parts of starting an herbal garden is simply knowing where to begin. There are so many wonderful plants, so much information, and so many different things you could grow that it can quickly become overwhelming.

So I created a free Beginner Herbal Garden Quick-Start Guide featuring 25 familiar, useful, and beginner-friendly herbs to help you choose a manageable first group of plants.

Inside the printable guide, you’ll find information about:

🌱 Sun and soil needs
🌱 Growing zones
🌱 Plant size and spacing
🌱 Parts traditionally used
🌱 Common preparation methods
🌱 Helpful growing and safety notes

You don’t need to plant all 25. Choose five to eight herbs that fit your garden, your climate, and your family’s goals—and start there.

Your guide will arrive by email, so be sure to check your Spam or Promotions folder if you don’t see it within a few minutes.

I’ve also been quietly working on something much bigger for those who want to go deeper, and I’ll be sharing more about that soon. 💗

Stay blessed,
Ruth
