A Fond Farewell

What a wonderful send-off and fond farewell yesterday for Aspen Music Festival and School President and CEO Alan Fletcher. A thunderous standing ovation from a full house of nearly 200 guests in the Michael Klein Tent, followed by a truly heroic performance of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, made for an unforgettable celebration.

Harry Teague Architects would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to Alan for his extraordinary devotion to the Music School and for inviting us to share in his vision for the Bucksbaum Campus, along with the many other important achievements that have helped shape the future of the Aspen Music Festival and School.

Alan, we will miss you and the energy, vision, and dedication you have brought to this remarkable community. We are grateful to have been part of your journey and know that wherever music takes you next, you will continue to make the music community a better and more inspired place.

At last Friday's Final Critique, you showcased your creativity, curiosity, and dedication through thoughtful sketches, compelling presentations, and beautifully crafted models. Your ability to observe, interpret, and transform ideas into meaningful design work was inspiring.

We are proud of all that you accomplished over these three intensive weeks and look forward to seeing where your design journey takes you next. Keep questioning, exploring, creating, and imagining and most importantly SKETCHING. The future of design is bright! ✨
