This week I got her framed in, sheathed and wrapped.
Things take a little longer working alone. But I still get er done
Cut man , laborer, mechanic, just a simple man making stuff!

Last week was fun!!
Started a porch remodel.
Never sure what you’re gonna find once you start peeling the onion.
Managed to get the job into 1 bagster.
This week week we start the build back.

I work alone so some of this was a challenge, those steps were about 200lbs each (maybe more). But the old man still managed to lift and get them in the bag.

Installed a new screen system last week
I made a video but not real happy about how it turned out, should I post it anyway?
The old screen was stapled and covered with 1/4 round
That all came off I power washed and called in the painters to clean it up , then installed a new screen system with a base splines and a vinyl cap
Much cleaner and stronger!

Another slate wall with a wine rack!
Did one of these in December, the neighbor called and wanted the same thing. The racks are hard to see due to color
I don’t pick the placement the customer does. (They have children)
Finishing the bottom of the cut edge is on the customer.

A couple from town called because they had a little siding issue. the corner trim on the porch just fell off one day. upon further investigation I discovered that after years of water leaking thru a tiny hole the entire corner post had pretty much rotted away. When I started I had no idea how deep this would go. Fortunately there was no structural movement. I was able to dissect the entire assembly, add the structure back and reinstall every piece of trim and siding. Some contractors may have just torn into this, destroyed everything and replaced it with all new. ultimately I saved money on material and labor as I didn't try to recreate what was already there. When I was done you couldn't even tell I was there. This time all joints were caulked to stop water seepage and seal the assembly

That’s a wrap! What a week, add windows to the list.
This one was a referral from my roofer.
I have a handful of highly reputable network partners. If you need something I can’t do, chances are I gotta guy who can.
Next week should also be fun more to come!!
