Time has come to differentiate myself from my daily operations of a self employed carpenter of 28+ years, and my home workshop operations for 20+ years. Farm49Workshop is a my new business name for my shop projects. Things have definitely changed over the years… from the small 12x12 basement bedroom “shop”, now to a full shop space, adding high tech cnc tools, laser machine..oh not to mention heat! Omg, projects in the middle of a wisco winter in an unheated garage is brutal! Where does the Farm49 name come from? Welp, Our home is a retired old Wisconsin farmstead, likely 100+ years old. The still standing silo is here, along with the original silo build date etched into the concrete from the guys who built it in June 1949. Cool stuff! I’ll be periodically adding pics of past years projects that have left my shop. I’ve always been fond of old rustic wood, furniture, etc, and you’ll see this in many of my past projects.
