Buzick Construction

We’re proud to officially introduce Kelly Emerine as Buzick’s first Business Development Director.

In addition to expertise that spans financial services, commercial real estate, and small business operations, Kelly also has years of firsthand familiarity with the Buzick family, our work, and the standards behind the name. That perspective makes her uniquely qualified to help tell our story, strengthen the relationships that got us here, and align Buzick for the right opportunities.

Good people know good people, and Kelly knows how to bring them together. Welcome to the team!

As presenting sponsor of the 2026 Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame® ceremony, Team Buzick is proud to stand among the people whose ideas, sacrifices, standards, and relentless commitment have shaped this industry into what it is today.

For nearly 90 years, Buzick has had the privilege of building alongside many of them, learning the craft, and helping give their work a place to age. Supporting this ceremony is one small way we can recognize those who paved the way and those still pushing bourbon forward. We are humbled to stand on the shoulders of giants.

Thank you to Kentucky Bourbon for the opportunity to be part of a tradition that honors the people who have earned their place in bourbon history.

Trusted by the industry’s most respected distillers, Buzick is proud to deliver both landmark builds and the exploratory pilot projects that push bourbon forward.

Nestled in the hills of Springfield, Kentucky, Thousand Acres is an estate wh***ey resort focused on experimental distilling for an exclusive clientele. The project explores rare grains, distillation methods, and maturation techniques in an effort to artfully elevate the way its patrons experience Kentucky’s favorite spirit.

The 2,016 SF experimental barrel warehouse was engineered and built for small-batch innovation and precise aging control, while the 4,771 SF micro-distillery prioritizes quality over quantity with a production capacity of one barrel per day. Thousand Acres is proving that great things really do come in small production…or however the saying goes.

The work that matters most often starts in the places that raised us. Buzick is grateful for the opportunity to support Nelson County High School and Nelson County Athletics in a way that means so much to our community.

This donation was made in honor of Will Coomes, whose life and memory continue to be felt by the people who knew and loved him. We are humbled to play a small part in helping carry that memory forward while supporting the student-athletes who will take the field this season.

Team Buzick is proud of the work we do across Kentucky and the country, but moments like these remind us how important it is to show up for the community we call home.

Please join us tomorrow, Saturday, August 22, at Bill Broaddus Field for the 2026 Buzick Construction Bowl, a two-game event honoring Will and kicking off Nelson County High School’s 2026-2027 football season.

Thank you to everyone who made this possible. We’re grateful to stand beside you, honor Will’s memory, and support the next generation of student-athletes.

In construction, time moves differently. It’s measured in phases, pours, inspections, and progress instead of months or years on a calendar.

Jerry Wayne Rogers joined Buzick in 1985 and continues to serve as a site Superintendent for landmark projects. However, 40 years of contribution can’t be captured by a title or number on a resume. His fingerprints are all over decades of Buzick buildings, and his knowledge has shaped countless men and women who learned the craft by his side.

Jerry’s impact is measured in early mornings, weathered boots, lessons learned, and problems solved. He has helped build Buzick’s legacy, and we are proud to call him one of our own.

From dirt to destination… Team Buzick was in Paducah yesterday to break ground on the new TownePlace Suites by Marriott. With four stories, 106-guest rooms, an indoor pool, fitness center, and outdoor gathering space, this 62,000-square-foot facility will add real weight to Western Kentucky’s hospitality footprint.

Serving as the site / civil engineer, structural engineer, and general contractor, we understand projects like this do more than add rooms for visitors. They support travel, create jobs, strengthen local tourism, and give a growing community more room to welcome what’s next.

Projects like this carry weight. They are about more than buildings, barrels, and production capacity. They give tradition the room, structure, and strength to keep evolving.

Built with the same respect for legacy that made the name what it is today, this is a bold chapter for Willett Distillery. The new Springfield campus was created to support continued growth while honoring the craftsmanship, hospitality, and family heritage behind one of bourbon’s most respected names.

Congratulations to the Willett family and team! We’re beyond grateful for the opportunity to be part of your story.
