Please join the Master Gardener Volunteers of Columbia County on Saturday, September 12th from 9:30-11:45 AM at the Columbus Community Center (125 Dickason St., Columbus) for session #3 of "Let's Get Green & Growing (On the Road)."
Columbia County Master Gardener Becky Gutzman will present on “Making the Most of Your Fall Garden" and Sauk County Master Gardener Doreen Hamburg will present on "Seed Saving from Native Plants.”

A HUGE THANK YOU to all our friends and followers who turned out for our Garden Tour yesterday! The weather could not have been more perfect, and we had a FANTASTIC amount of visitors. We had more visitors yesterday than at any of our previous garden tours. Thank you all so much for taking time out of your weekend to spend it with us!

Thank you to another of our wonderful garden tour sponsors - Pam's Greenhouse of Reedsburg. Thanks to their generous donation, SCMGA is able to put on a spectacular garden tour year after year and other educational gardening projects. Today's the day for the tour - come join us from 9 to 4 and check out some beautiful gardens.

Today is SCMGA's annual garden tour! A big thanks to one of our garden tour sponsors, Consumers Co-op in Sauk Prairie, this spectacular tour is possible. Stop by any of their locations and tell them thanks - AFTER you attend the tour today. Tickets are only $15. You can pick them up at the Baraboo Community Garden, located across the street from the Baraboo splash pad on Island Court.

A big thank you to those individuals who helped at the Van Orden Mansion today. It was a brisk day for working outside, but we persisted and got alot done. New mulch on everything and it looks great! (The picture is from last summer, not today. I forgot my camera today!)

SCHS is looking for volunteers to help wake up our garden beds for the spring!
Tasks will include spreading a lot of mulch, raking, weeding and other gardening tasks.
