Summer may be winding down, but our teams found a fun way to send it off.

Over the past couple of weeks, our offices across Haley Ward celebrated with an Aloha to Summer theme, with each team putting its own spin on the festivities.

There were Hawaiian leis, festive drinks, tropical touches, and plenty of time to connect and enjoy the season together. We loved seeing the different ways our offices celebrated!

There’s always something new to learn, and Project LIFT's Ladies Night offered plenty of opportunities to do just that!

Hale Ward Senior Interior Designer, Leslie Crouch, RID, NCIDQ, CAPS, and Senior Project Assistant Tiffany Owen from our Florida team recently attended the event in Hobe Sound, where they got hands-on with welding and carpentry and took part in an automotive lesson.

Project LIFT provides young people with vocational training, mentoring, mental health support and other resources to help them build skills and confidence for the future. Ladies Night gives the community an opportunity to experience some of those hands-on activities while supporting the organization’s programs.

Haley Ward was proud to sponsor this year’s event and support Project LIFT’s work in the Hobe Sound community.

It looks like Leslie and Tiffany had a great time trying something new! Thank you to Project LIFT for a wonderful evening and for all you do for young people in our community.

Construction is moving into the final phases at Catalina Pointe, a new build-to-rent community taking shape in Deltona, Florida!

Our Florida Survey team has been there throughout the project, providing construction surveying services from initial layout through final as-built documentation. Their work has supported the construction of roadways, utilities, drainage, sidewalks, and residential buildings across the 36.6-acre development.

With 279 rental units, clubhouses, swimming pools, dog parks, and other amenities, Catalina Pointe is bringing a new residential community to Central Florida. Our team has worked closely with South Florida Grading, Certified General Contractors, and the project team to navigate weather delays, extreme summer temperatures, an accelerated schedule, and design changes along the way.

Recently, SeniorsPlus celebrated the ribbon cutting of its new Encompass Education and Nutrition Center in Lewiston, Maine, and our Haley Ward team was there to help celebrate the occasion!

The new center brings together nutrition, education, wellness, and opportunities for connection to support the growing needs of older adults and adults with disabilities throughout Western Maine.

Haley Ward provided engineering, surveying, and environmental services for the project, contributing to the development of this important new community resource.

Congratulations to Kyle Sullivan on 20 years with Haley Ward!

Kyle serves as a Project Manager and Senior Project Scientist in our Environmental Division in Bangor, where he brings more than 25 years of environmental experience to his work with clients. He also serves as Haley Ward’s Corporate Safety Officer, helping keep our employee-owners safe and our company focused on a strong culture of safety.

From residential docks and boat lifts to large-scale boardwalk reconstruction, Haley Ward’s Florida survey team has supported Stokes Marine with precise, dependable surveying services since 2020.

Our partnership has grown alongside Stokes Marine, including riparian boundary surveys for waterfront projects, construction staking, and as-built surveys for boardwalk projects impacted by hurricanes Ian, Milton, and Helene. From private waterfront properties to environmentally sensitive areas like J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge, accurate field data and specialized surveying expertise help keep these projects moving forward.

This ongoing partnership is a great example of how our Florida survey team brings the technical expertise and responsiveness needed to support a wide range of waterfront projects.

Recently, Friends of Katahdin Woods & Waters National Monument celebrated the completion of renovations at the Park Loop Overlook with a ribbon cutting ceremony held as part of Woods & Waters Day. And what better way to celebrate than at one of the most beautiful overlooks in Maine?

Woods & Waters Day commemorates the August 2016 designation of the monument and celebrates a decade of conservation, recreation, stewardship, and partnerships across this incredible 87,500-acre landscape.

Haley Ward was proud to be part of the team behind the improvements to the Park Loop Overlook. Our team provided site design, and survey services for the project, helping enhance this scenic destination and its experience for the many visitors who come to explore Katahdin Woods and Waters.

It’s always rewarding to see a project move from plans and drawings to a finished place that people can actually experience. And this one comes with some pretty spectacular views.

Today, we’re proud to share an important leadership announcement for Haley Ward.

Effective January 1, 2027, Travis Noyes, PE, will become Haley Ward’s next President and CEO, succeeding Denis St. Peter, who has led the company since 2009. Denis will retire from his role as President and CEO and continue serving as Chairman of the Board.

Travis has been an important part of Haley Ward’s story for more than three decades. He first joined the firm in 1994 and returned in 2008, going on to serve as Engineering Division Director and, since 2022, as Haley Ward’s first Chief Operating Officer. In that role, he has worked closely with Denis and our leadership team on strategy, operations, acquisitions, technology, and employee engagement.

“Travis has been an integral part of Haley Ward’s leadership for many years, and I have tremendous confidence in his ability to lead the company forward,” said Denis St. Peter. “He understands our people, our clients, and the culture we have worked hard to build. More importantly, he understands what makes Haley Ward successful: talented employee-owners who care deeply about their work and the communities we serve. I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together and confident about where Travis and our team will take the company next.”

During Denis’s 17 years as President and CEO, Haley Ward has grown significantly in geographic reach, services, and workforce. The company expanded from its Maine roots into New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Florida, and Tennessee, completed numerous strategic acquisitions, became 100% employee-owned through an ESOP, and grew to more than 300 employee-owners.

We’re grateful for Denis’s extraordinary leadership and the legacy he has built, and we’re excited for the next chapter of Haley Ward under Travis’s leadership.
