With sadnesses I am sharing the loss of our dad & Pop-pop, Mark Langenfelder . Mark, left us unexpectedly on Friday July 10th, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Pop can now rest easy, and would want for all of us to remember the laughter and adventures you've shared. His life was full, his friendships long lasting & he took immense pride in being both a great father and successful business man. A business he spent his life building.

Viewing services will be held on

Thursday July 16th,2026 in Nottingham, Md at the Schimunek funeral home from 2pm-4pm & 6pm-9pm.

Funeral to follow on Friday July 17th at 12pm.

**We will broadcast the service online for those unable to join in person.

As many of you know JJ was incredibly close to Mark, please keep him in your thoughts & prayers as we navigate this with him. we would love for you to share memories for the kids & us. Feel free to share here in the comments or message us privately.

Mark loved his family, friends (even Donald) fishing, travel & dirt track racing. He truly cherished the vibrant life he lived and the many friendships spanning years.

We are also grateful to our UCMC ICU family, for being by our sides as we navigated such a difficult journey.
