25 YEARS LATER, WE REMEMBER. 🇺🇸

It’s hard to believe it has been 25 years.

September 11, 2001 is one of those days so many of us can still remember with incredible clarity. Where we were. Who we were with. The images we watched unfold. The fear, heartbreak, and uncertainty of a day that changed our country forever.

Today, we remember the lives that were lost. We honor the first responders and ordinary people who showed extraordinary courage in unimaginable circumstances. We remember the families who left home that morning never knowing their lives were about to change forever, and those who have carried the impact of that day ever since.

But we also remember what followed.

We remember neighbors helping neighbors. Strangers taking care of strangers. Communities coming together. People putting aside their differences and simply showing up for one another.

Twenty-five years later, there are young adults who weren’t even alive that day. That makes remembering, sharing the stories, and honoring those who lived them even more important.

May we never forget the lives. May we never forget the sacrifice. May we never forget the courage. And may we never forget how we came together.

Today, all of us at Flanery pause to remember and honor September 11, 2001.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

🍂 Alright, Central Ohio… it’s time for an important seasonal debate. 😂

Labor Day is behind us, the mornings are getting cooler, football is back, and we’ve officially entered the season where your house has absolutely no idea whether it’s supposed to be heating or cooling. 🤦‍♀️

So we need to know...

What temperature does it have to hit before YOU finally turn the furnace on? 👀🔥

🍂 65°: Nope. Absolutely not.
🎃 60°: Okayyyy, maybe.
🍁 55°: Fine. Turn it on.
🧣 Below 50°: Blankets exist for a reason. 😂
🏈 “I don’t care what the thermostat says, it’s NOT happening before October.”

🌽❤️💙 We had such a great time kicking off the Millersport Sweet Corn Festival Wednesday night!

Getting the Flanery crew together for the Opening Day Parade was such a fun way to start the festival, and seeing so many familiar faces along the route made it even better. Thank you to everyone who waved, cheered us on, and helped make the night so much fun!

And if you missed the parade, you definitely haven’t missed the festival! There’s still a whole lot happening in Millersport this weekend. 🎡🌽

Tonight, Diamond Rio takes the stage at 8:30 PM, and tomorrow Little River Band performs at 8:30 PM — and both concerts are FREE!

There’s also plenty for the whole family, including rides and games, hot buttered sweet corn and festival food, contests, pony rides, the new hands-on fishing experience for the kiddos, Saturday’s 5K and tractor pull, plus plenty more to explore around the festival grounds.
