Just one more reason to look outside the Big Box when considering new appliances. Our customers say it best!

"Years ago, Callier & Thompson installed a Dacor gas cooktop and downdraft vent for us. The cooktop arrangement is a 46", six-burner, black enamel in an island. Some time ago, the downdraft quit working and could not be repaired as Dacor is no longer in business. A 46" downdraft in black enamel (or any color) is simply not available. Callier & Thompson worked with me to locate and install a perfectly wonderful alternative downdraft unit to fix my problem and keep my lovely Dacor stovetop. Bob took the time to hear my dilemma, and put his team on it.
Matt got the team rolling and Matthew Alexander, came to survey the issues involved (which were significant) and he and Eric came to install the new downdraft. I am so pleased with: a) their willingness to work with me to solve my challenging problem rather than move me toward a replacement stovetop; b) their most reasonable price; and c) the beautiful result which exceeds my expectations.
