Southern Lifts Offering installation & servicing of residential & commercial stair lifts, elevators, and more. Hello. Our offices are based out of Marietta, GA.

My name is Jeff Johnson, and as the owner of Lift Assist I have worked on elevators and accessibility equipment for over 20 years. In 2011, I developed and opened my own company, Lift Assist. I have been working hard to build my business, and love helping people regain their independence and mobility in their homes. We will service and install lifts anywhere in the state and surrounding region. At Lift Assist, we keep a variety of Stairlifts, Wheelchair Lifts, and residential Elevators in stock. As well as a large supply of replacement parts. Through my many years of experience, I have worked to develop a personal relationship with each of my clients. You can count on Lift Assist to do what we promise. Our rates are more affordable, and we are always prompt and courteous. I would love the opportunity to meet with you and prove how you can trust us to do what we promise.

Elevator. Stair lift. Platform lift. They all move people between elevations, but they solve very different accessibility challenges.

The important question isn't simply, "Which product do I want?" It's "What do I need the equipment to accomplish?"

Where your stair lift stops when you're not riding it can make a difference in how you use your staircase and surrounding space. Depending on the lift and staircase configuration, parking locations can be considered as part of the overall setup.

It's a small detail—but those are often the details that make equipment work better in everyday life.

When you ride a residential elevator, most of the technology doing the work is out of sight. The drive system is responsible for moving the elevator between floors, and different elevator designs use different technologies to accomplish that job.

It's one of the reasons choosing an elevator involves more than picking out the cab. The equipment behind it matters, too.

When an older residential elevator develops a problem, replacing the entire elevator isn't automatically the answer.

Depending on the equipment and the cause of the problem, a technician may be able to repair the existing system or recommend upgrading specific components. Southern Lifts has extensive experience troubleshooting residential elevator systems, including ThyssenKrupp LEV equipment.

You use your elevator controls all the time, but have you ever stopped to learn what every button and indicator actually does?

Knowing how to properly operate your elevator, including its emergency features, is worthwhile for everyone in the household who uses it. If you're unsure about a feature on your specific system, ask your elevator professional rather than guessing.
