Ball Ground Garden Club 1951 Club Membership is open to all that have an active interest in gardening. New members are voted in by secret ballot after they have attended 2 meetings.

The Ball Ground Garden Club was formally organized in May of 1951 in Ball Ground, Georgia and acquired membership in the Garden Club of Georgia in September of 1951. The goal of our Garden Club is the advancement of gardening, the development of home grounds, and the furthering of city beautification; the stimulation of interest in cooperative gardening, the aiding in the protection of forests, wi

ld flowers, birds, etc. Our regular meetings are held at 10 AM on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, except for May (our Annual Plant Sale and Festival is held the day before Mother's Day each year), July and August, & we have our Annual Christmas Luncheon in December. The meetings are held at the Sharp Mountain Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 7107 Ball Ground Hwy, Ball Ground, GA 30107. Visit our Botanical Garden located at 215 Valley Street, Ball Ground, GA 30107. It is open year round & is free to everyone. Hours are Dawn to Dusk.
