The company, founded in 1948, was purchased by Gene Hulse and Ken De Sherlia in 1958. In 1960 Nick Heath joined the company and worked his way up the ladder of success. From 1968 to 1987 Nick and Ken worked together, as partners , to grow the company to much of what it is today. De Sherlia passed away in 1987, leaving Nick Heath the sole owner. In 1982 Nick's wife, Brenda Heath, was hired as the b

ookkeeper. She has since served as the Office Manager, Secretary/Treasurer, Controller, and Vice President. In 1993 Adam Cline began his career in the glass industry. Adam was first hired to work in the shop and followed Nick's footsteps to the top of the company. After Nick's retirement in January of 2010, Adam stepped into his current position of President of Kern Glass. Other family members: Steve Boyd, Brad Thessen, Aidan Cline, and Austin Cline all play integral parts in the current success of Kern Glass.
