The Owner Matt Hill is a journeyman framer who has schooling in Architecture Complex designing and framing is what this company specializes in. Structural integrity is very important to us as well as the finished product. Matt Hill Custom Homes strives to design and build what other contractors have a difficult time with. Matt Hill Custom Homes strives to make sure that not only does the design work for the customer at the time, but it is designed for any future work as well. I have had to fix poorly designed and built additions from other contractors work. Overall Matt Hill Custom Homes never builds custom homes or additions with trusses or flat roofs, because in my opinion trusses are not very high quality framing. We also do not build patios off of the fascia of the house or use cheap plywood for exposed patios because it is obvious that it was not built at the same time the house was.
