Short version: if it needs to stay put, you want gravel. If it needs to let water through, you want drain rock. Mixing that up is how yards end up with standing water — or worse.

While feeding the koi today, we figured why not throw a little brain teaser out there for ya. The answer to the riddle might also be the answer to a bunch of your at-home projects.
