The layout of an EarthArch home can be very much like the home you are accustomed to seeing, but with many more options at your disposal. Take for example the atrium. Imagine having a year round garden, not having to stop when old man winter sets in. Or a beautiful pond that you can admire as you peacefully read your novel. The possibilities are truly endless! Something that often crosses our mind no matter where we are located when building a new home is safety. Natural disasters are very real and affect many of us personally. These considerations were looked at closely during the design process. An EarthArch home is naturally shielded from disasters such as tornados, hurricanes, high heat, and extreme cold due to its environmental design. Enviroment
One of the greatest assets to an EarthArch home is how environmentally friendly it truly is. Using natural insulation helps keep the house protected from the harsh winters and blistering summers. The ability to use the top of the arch as green space for a garden or even just grass will do more for the Earth than an asphalt shingle ever will.
