So I get a call from a customer saying when are you going to haul off my old water heater that the electrician & heating & air guy are burning my name well reason #1 I didn’t haul off the old heater is because the celler steps are rotten and I fell through them in 2 places & hurt my self bringing in the new one to install messed up my leg and put a nail through my arm reason #2 is that I didn’t charge them or agree to haul off the old water heater normally we do as a courtesy so for the electrician & heating and air guy who want to burn my name I think you should get all the facts before you start criticizing as I told the customer to give me call when he gets the steps fixed because I ain’t about to kill myself for FREE bolth the electrician & thè heating & air guy are more than welcome to to haul that heater up those rotten stairs for free & hurt them selves…

A little wast & drain & water pipe repipe we just did to bring up to code in a exsposed space that that was leaking tees laying on there back and fittings not glued.. a lot of people & handy men don’t know or understand if you have a house or something that you’re trying to sell if the potential buyer has it inspected they will not let you sell it until it’s compliant
With code even if you just (had it fixed a week ago) nothing against handymen in plumbing everything has to be to code there is rules it’s best to have a licensed plumber that knows & understands the codes so you ain’t paying for the same job twice

Another water heater in the books 2 more to go when it rains it pours, traded out a 32 gallon oil fired water heater & installed a new 50 gallon electrical using port ball valves & quick disconnects to make it easier on the next guy..

More sharkbite we had to cut out because they was leaking I was told they held for almost a year before they cause a big...

More sharkbite we had to cut out because they was leaking I was told they held for almost a year before they cause a big ol mess in a customers celling, everybody always bashes me about not using them they do have there place as a temporary fix in a emergency as a last resort until you can get the right fittings to repair the leak properly but again I’ve cut way to many of them out that has leaked and caused a lot of damage to peoples homes that could have been avoided by just using the proper fittings to begin with, I will die on that hill I have seen & documented the damage those things have caused over the years just because they are easy to install,$$$$$

Just letting everyone know because I hear it a lot from customers if you call E&J and I don’t answer it’s because I’m on a job and I won’t answer the phone while I’m on the job to me that’s unprofessional nobody want to pay me to talk on the phone & it’s not a good look if I don’t answer please leave a message and I will call you back as soon as possible calling is thè  preferred method because if you send me a message via Facebook I won’t see it till I get home. Here @ E&J plumbing we have a $45 in person diagnosis / estimate fee what you get is a licensed plumber coming to your residence that will locate & identify the issue & present you with options of how to resolve the issue including time materials & pricing and if you determine to have us do the work the $45 estimate fee will be refunded in full at the final billing.. we charge the fee to help us cover some of the cost like the employees wage that comes to your residence, gas wear & tear on our vehicles insurance etc.. we are a family owned family operated plumbing co with 36yrs experience in all aspects of plumbing including but not limited to drain cleaning, camera inspections, septic tank locating, service & repair work, new construction, renovations/remodels. All of our work comes with a warranty we even offer a 15% senior discount on all labor we service the local Bainbridge, Afton, Sidney Unadilla & masonville area.
