Y’all know I am not about pushy sales tactics, but there are now 2000 reasons to replace your old air conditioner before the year ends.
The up to $2000.00 tax credit is ending soon!
There has been a federal tax credit of up to $2000 on my very favorite Trane systems. This credit was an ongoing program that was scheduled to continue for years. I just became aware that the program now ends this year.
There will be no $2000 credit on equipment installed after Dec 31, 2025. If you were planning to replace a system in the next couple of years anyway, it could cost you $2000 more to wait.
If you replace your system this Fall, you could enjoy the efficiency and peace of mind the new system brings and get up to a $2000 tax credit on qualifying systems.
I recommend acting sooner rather than later. Stocking levels have been good lately. I expect that to change as more people get in line to take advantage of the tax credit. December may find the qualifying equipment back-ordered.
One last note, I always get new price lists sometime between mid-December and mid-January. Manufacturers rarely lower prices these days. The new pricing almost always brings an increase.
