The name on the truck matters less than the person who knocks on your door.

Our customers mention their technicians by name in reviews: Walt, Ryan, Zach, Gerald and Mat. Familiar faces and consistent service matter. When a technician knows your home’s history, they can better understand what was found before and where attention may be needed next.

That is why we focus treatment on the specific pest and the areas where activity is actually occurring, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Same-day response is the part people remember.

"Highly recommend this company! We had an issue with wasps entering a corner of our window, and Gerald came out within just a couple of hours of our call. He was incredibly professional, courteous..." — Irene Covington, Google review

Wasp season runs hot through August and into September, and a nest near a window or door is not something to wait on.

Thank you Irene. Gerald, that is a good week.

Mice do not need a hole. They need a gap.

A gap the width of a pencil is enough for a mouse, and the usual entry points are boring: under the garage door, around utility line penetrations, behind loose siding at the corners, and at the gap under an exterior door.

Our rodent work starts with finding those entry points, not just setting traps inside. Traps handle what is already there. Exclusion is what stops the next one.

If you heard scratching in the ceiling last winter, this is the month to deal with it.

The bugs you see outside in August may be the ones looking for a way inside this fall.

Boxelder bugs, stink bugs, cluster flies and multicolored Asian lady beetles spend the warmer months outdoors. As temperatures shift, they often gather on sunny south- and west-facing walls, then look for gaps around windows, doors, vents and siding to overwinter inside.

Prevention works best before they get into wall voids. A targeted exterior service can help, but sealing entry points is the long-term key.

This week, walk around your home and check:

Door sweeps

Window screens and frames

Exterior vent covers, including the dryer vent

Gaps around utility lines, siding and trim

Before the next cookout, walk your yard once and look for traffic.
Yellowjackets often nest in ground holes near walkways and in protected spaces around the home, such as wall voids, eaves, and enclosed cavities. You will often notice them flying directly in and out of one spot before you ever see the nest.
Keep trash and recycling lids closed, rinse cans and bottles, and clean up food spills. Sugary drinks, meat, and food waste are major attractants for yellowjackets around patios and outdoor meals.
Found activity you would rather not deal with? Tell us where you are seeing it, and we will handle it.

One of the first things we check on a service visit: the eaves and soffits.
Webs can be a sign of insect activity around the home, and wasp traffic near the roofline can point us toward nesting areas, entry points, and the spots that need attention. Simply knocking down webs without addressing the conditions attracting insects can mean they return.
Read the property, identify the activity, then treat it.

Not everything buzzing around the yard needs to be treated.

Honey bees are usually fuzzy, golden-brown to amber, and often found visiting flowers. If a swarm settles somewhere awkward, leave it alone and contact a local beekeeper for help relocating it.

Yellowjackets are smoother-bodied and often bright yellow and black. They may nest underground or inside wall voids, and they are often the ones showing up around trash, sweet drinks, and cookout food.

Paper wasps are longer and thinner, with legs that often dangle while they fly. They build exposed, open-celled “umbrella” nests under eaves, porch ceilings, railings, and other sheltered spots.

Same reaction from most people—three different situations. If you are not sure what you have, take a photo from a safe distance and we can help identify it before anyone treats anything.

Mice don't wait for the first frost. They start scouting in late August, and a gap the width of a pencil is all they need. Our rodent work is exclusion first — find the openings, close them, then treat — because trapping alone just makes room for the next one. If you found droppings in the garage last winter, this is the month to get ahead of it.

Hear crickets in the basement? That's the calendar talking. As nights cool off, outdoor insects start looking for warm, humid space — and your foundation is the first thing they hit. Crickets, spiders and ground beetles all show up in the same two weeks. The fix isn't spraying the ones you see, it's sealing and treating the entry points they're using.
