Two more projects getting close to complete.
First is a 77” long walnut fireplace mantle. Lost of clamps required on these mantles. I have built a lot of these over the years.
Next is a Noodle board.
It is 29”x20” and 1 3/4” thick.
I used Walnut, Cherry, and Maple in this board. I build these with Titebond III which is a waterproof glue.

The wood starts out very plain white, but put some walnut stain on it and WOW! Check out these photos! The last one is a close up of the grain.
I have about 500 bf in my lumber inventory if anyone is interested.

Displaying the exploded parts of the coffee table. There are 16 individual parts I have built that now get assembled to create the final table. Each part consists of several individual boards and pieces. So far I have close to 10 hours in the build. It will be time for stain and poly next week.

A new project underway. This is a 48” x 18” coffee table. Elm is the wood of choice here.
Elm is a good solid wood that works a lot like red oak. While it is quite plain befroe staining, a nice walnut stain brings out a very unique grain interesting grain.

Here is the headboard for the oak bed in construction. Now that it all fits, time to disassemble, route the edges, and sand for a couple hours.
The last photo are the four routers used in the making the headboard.
Then wrap up the foot board and this project is close to being stained and sent home!

Follow-up photos of the elm wood hall tree: The feet are now attached and the tree is stained with dark walnut stain. Once this wood gets some color applied the grain and beauty really shows.

I am building a hall tree, also known as a coat rack. This one is elm.See below the photos for details.
