Rustemeyer Roofing is currently seeking a full-time crew member for work in the Central Missouri area (shop in Auxvasse, Mo). Roofing knowledge is a big plus and will be compensated accordingly, but is not required; starting hourly rate is $23, which will be adjusted upwards based on actual experience & skills. Employees also receive regular bonuses, paid time off, and performance-based raises. This is a full-time, year-round position working primarily on roofs, gutters, and siding, but in the winter when it’s too cold to roof, we work on various interior projects. The ideal candidate must possess a valid driver's license, demonstrate self-motivation, reliability, consistency, and teamwork skills. Additionally, the ability to lift and move 80lb regularly throughout the day and be comfortable working at heights and on ladders is required. Take a closer look at this photo—each yellow circle marks storm damage, or a “hit.” The 10’x10’ box outlined in white chalk is called a Test Square. Insurance adjusters use it to evaluate whether there’s enough damage on a roof to justify a claim payout. According to the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, test squares “should be located in areas with the most damage.”

Now, notice the chalk notation: “F - H = 0”. This is adjuster shorthand for “Front of house – Hits = ZERO.” In other words, they’ve concluded there’s no damage on the front side of this roof.

While many adjusters are fair, not all are. That’s why having an experienced, knowledgeable roofer who understands how to work with insurance companies is crucial. You’ve paid for coverage—make sure you receive it.

Hey everyone, with all the hail storms around Mexico a couple things to keep in mind when choosing someone to repair all the damage:
1. Are they local? You want someone who will be here later if there are any problems or warranty issues to take care of.
2. Are they licensed with the city and insured? The city of Mexico requires work comp and general liability so the homeowner is protected, and all workers as well.
3. Do they have a good reputation and referrals, for the peace of mind of knowing you are getting a quality job?
4. And lastly, don’t feel rushed to make a decision- most hail damage won’t cause a leak issues for months or even years, so don’t let yourself be pressured into signing anything until you are ready to hire a contractor you are comfortable with.

Must be self motivated, reliable, consistent and respectful to others. Also need to be able to lift and move 80lb on a regular basis multiple times a day, not timid on ladders or with heights.
