A roof supplement is only as strong as the story behind it.

Many contractors focus on adding missing line items to a roof supplement.
Experienced estimators know that adding the items is only half the job.

The other half is explaining why they belong there.

A well-written supplement narrative can be the difference between a quick approval and weeks of back-and-forth discussions.

When preparing roof supplements, every addition should be supported by a clear explanation:
