Their agricultural forum this year is focusing on water issues - specifically who should be allocated more water rights - agricultural or urban use? For irrigation systems, we winterize the system to prevent costly freeze damage to expensive components like pumps and first flush systems, returning in the spring to prime the pump and bring everything back on line.

For potable systems, we recommend changing filters every 6 months and the UV bulb every year, along with cleaning leaf baskets, draining collection lines and first flushes, and looking over the pump!

The latest rainwater install TOTALLY maximized the water catchment potential on an urban Austin lot! We installed three tanks - two 1,000 gallon poly tanks and one 265 gallon slimline tank - collecting off nearly the entire roofline for a total of 2,265 gallons of combined storage!
