Demo is complete on one of our whole-home remodels!

This is a jobsite, but it’s also a family’s home. We keep every demo phase as clean and organized as possible for everyone safety & ease of ex*****on.

Once the walls came down, we found a few things we weren’t expecting so our structural engineer came back out to reevaluate. Surprises happen with remodels & sometimes it best to pause until the new plan is in place - especially with additions & moving walls!

This home is headed toward Stuga white oak floors and a soft, calming palette with gentle moments of natural color. This family takes beautiful care of their home, and it was time for an upgrade ✨

If she hasn’t met the farmer, read the third-party lab results, or tracked down the sourcing herself, it’s probably not in her plant infested house. Seriously Alix - you have too many plants 🙄

Alix is a strange little health nut with a crunchy mom that convinced her homemade yogurt was ice cream for the first 12 years of her life. If you’re on the team, she’s probably force feeding you steak, making raw-milk matcha lattes, or begging you for unprocessed elk meat from your next hunting trip.

If you’re a client, you get all of it at your fingertips: non-toxic sustainable flooring the little ones can run around on (hej Stuga - one of of her faves), lead-free tile, and a running list of where to buy so everything stays as local, pesticide-free, and non-toxic as possible, right down to your clothes & toothpaste.

ANYWAYYSSS - here’s some of her absolute faves that she has kept in her life consistently. Enjoy (:

Limestone floors, river rock shower, hand-crafted Moroccan brass.

Our clients wanted simple and organic, a space that brought the towering oaks outside into the experience - so we added a stunning feature window to mix greenery with the earthen elements.

The approach: Kerdi waterproofing, zero-VOC Ecos paint, AFM stone sealer (no formaldehyde, fungicides, or mildewcides), and two Panasonic fans, one with humidity auto-sensing that’s ducted straight outside, bye mold 👋🏼

The limestone and unlacquered brass will age together & our clients will enjoy a dry, healthy, truly non-toxic space for many more years to come.

Texas-raised. Fashion-obsessed. Interior designer. REALTOR®. Firm believer that leopard is a neutral.

Monica grew up loving fashion first. Clothes, textiles, color, proportion, the whole thing. Somewhere along the way, that obsession was translated from what people wear to how they live.

She studied interior design, earned an MBA, and built a career that bounced between fashion, luxury retail, PR, real estate, and interiors.

She’s worked with design brands like Louis Vuitton, Neiman Marcus, Martha O’Hara Interiors, Brandon Miller Group, Vera Wang, has touched more than $350M in real estate assets, and still gets genuinely excited over the right stone slab, vintage chair, or ridiculously good fabric.

Now she’s Senior Interior Designer here at Enso Homes, where she gets to bring all those worlds together.

Her rooms are a lot like her wardrobe: classic foundation, layered color, something vintage, something that relays the human experience, and at least one thing you didn’t expect.

Monica calls it design “joy” & we couldn’t agree more 🖤

Last week’s mood board has evolved into this week’s renderings & planning🤎 We’re refining the little details with our clients, considering custom bookshelves, recycled wood flooring with a custom stain, & finalizing the non-toxic lime wash paint (I love chèvre & au lait).

Sculptural. Powerful. Forms that demand silence & attention.

Our design blurs brutalist lines with organic inspiration. When furniture stops behaving like furniture, that’s when we pay attention.
