From plans on paper to full on living space!

This living room in one of our Lampasas custom homes came together with a brick fireplace, double doors leading out to the back patio, and plenty of natural light throughout the space.

The before and after is fun to see and the perfect example of executing on the planning process. Window placement, door locations, sightlines, and how the living room connects to the outdoor space all have to be thought through long before the finishes go in.
All these things may seem overwhelming to have to think through, but that’s why we love building custom. We love to help guide you through all the choices with our building expertise and save you from the dreaded decision fatigue. We’ll help you get from concept to completed home without feeling like you have to figure it all out on your own!

Out at Rolling Hills Reserve in Lampasas, Michael’s walking through a little detail we build into our homes here in the Hill Country. A dedicated shut-off for the outdoor hose bibs so when a freeze comes through, you’ve got control. It might seem like a small, simple feature, but trust us when we say it saves a lot of trouble later.

One more way we’re thinking ahead on your build, so you don’t have to!

Sunbelt Builders Show was full of countless conversations and alot of ideas we’re so excited to bring home.

Hands down one of our favorite highlights was hearing from the retired CEO of Blue Bell Creameries, who shared what it takes to build a brand people trust. His message was simple and something we emulate: great companies are built through consistent service, high standards, and doing the right thing every single day.

We also sat in on an economic forecast covering both the national and Central Texas housing markets. It gave us a better understanding of what today’s homebuyers are experiencing, why many families are hesitant to build, and how we can better guide our clients through the process with confidence.

On top of that, we explored new partnerships, discovered innovative building products, and learned about new technology and financing solutions that can create even more opportunities for our homeowners.

And why should you care??

Our job is to not only build an incredible home, we also commit to keep learning, keep improving, and keep bringing the very best innovations and ideas to the families who trust us with their dream place to live. Whether it’s better products, stronger partnerships, or new ways to make the building process easier, we want our homeowners to know they’re benefiting from a builder who’s always looking ahead.

We’re heading home with a lot of ideas and we can’t wait to put them to work!

We wanted to take the time to shout out a couple of booths that caught our attention at the Texas Association of Builders

The first was CrossCountry Mortgage. We spent some time learning about the financing options they offer, especially for buyers who are concerned about coming up with a large down payment. They have access to a variety of loan programs, including options that can help qualified buyers with down payment assistance or lower upfront costs. For a lot of families, that can make building a custom home feel much more attainable. (CrossCountry Mortgage)

The second surprise was Gaiennie Lumber. We were really impressed by the natural wood siding products they had on display. You get the warmth and character that only real wood can provide, but what caught us off guard was how cost-effective many of their products can be. They also offer specialty lumber and millwork that give homeowners more opportunities to create something unique versus feeling like the only option is a standard exterior finish.
