🏡 A new home doesn’t always mean a problem-free roof.
One of the biggest misconceptions I see is homeowners assuming that because a roof is newer or because they just purchased the home everything is in perfect condition.
These photos are a great reminder that the areas around chimneys, walls, vents, and flashing deserve just as much attention as the shingles themselves. They’re some of the most common places where water intrusion can begin if something isn’t installed correctly or starts to deteriorate over time.
Whether you’re:
✔️ Buying a home
✔️ Selling a home
✔️ Or simply haven’t had your roof inspected in a few years
Having a contractor you trust can help identify small issues before they become expensive repairs. Catching a problem early is almost always easier and less costly, than dealing with interior water damage later.
Your roof is one of the biggest investments protecting your home. Make sure someone is looking at the details, not just the shingles.
If you’d like peace of mind, I’m always happy to take a look and answer any questions.
