Apparently, the back wall was blocking the view. So we fixed that. 😂

This Central Texas home got a serious upgrade with Pella Impervia fiberglass windows and a massive 12-foot Panda sliding patio door.

And no, we didn’t just swap out a few windows and call it a day.

We opened up the entire back wall, installed a new structural header, and transformed the space to accommodate a much larger sliding glass door.

The result? More natural light, bigger views, and a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living.

Turns out, sometimes the best window upgrade involves removing a wall. 🔨

We’re in Marble Falls with black-on-black Pella Impervia windows and plans for a two-panel Panda sliding patio door in an approximately 12-foot-wide opening.

Shoutout to Marble Falls Plumbing for rerouting the water so we can keep things moving.

Trends come and go. Your windows and doors shouldn’t feel outdated in five years.

When you’re making decisions that will stay with a home for decades, clean proportions, intentional colors, and timeless details usually win.

There’s nothing wrong with following a trend, just make sure it still makes sense when the trend is gone.

The cheapest quote isn’t always the cheapest project.

When you’re comparing window and door proposals, make sure you’re comparing the entire scope, not just the number at the bottom.

Product quality. Glass package. Installation method. Waterproofing. Interior finish. Exterior finish. Warranty. All of it matters.

A lower price can simply mean less is included.

Ask questions. Compare scopes. Know exactly what you’re paying for before you sign.

One design decision saved this homeowner about $30,000.

We reduced the amount of grids throughout the window package, which lowered the cost and gave the home a cleaner, more timeless look at the same time.

More expensive doesn’t always mean better.

Sometimes the best design decision is knowing what to leave out.
