The rest of the world is racing toward renewable energy because the economics are impossible to ignore: solar is the cleanest and cheapest form of energy, global solar installations hit record highs in 2025, and renewables are supplying a growing share of the world’s electricity demand. Meanwhile, the U.S. allowed key residential solar tax credits to expire at the end of 2025 — a move driven more by politics and lobbying than by technology or market trends. Even so, global momentum hasn’t slowed. Countries across Europe, Asia, and South America continue investing heavily in solar, battery storage, and grid modernization because energy independence, lower long-term costs, and cleaner air are increasingly seen as economic advantages — not political issues. The U.S. has always been a leader in innovation, and hopefully we’ll find our way back to encouraging the growth of solar and renewable energy for the benefit of homeowners, businesses, energy security, and the planet we all share 🌞
