"A shower bench can make life easier for older homeowners who need a safe place to sit down, but it can serve plenty of other functions too.

Depending on its configuration, a bench can double as a shelf, a pedestal for shaving, a wheelchair-accessible seat and more. We spoke to design pros and looked to several projects that incorporated shower benches to find out which setups work best in various situations.

A corner seat makes great use of smaller showers, can be designed with or without wheelchair-friendly open space beneath it and can be a full seat, a leg-shaving perch or a spot just big enough for a few bottles of shampoo."

A beautiful new build in the coveted neighborhood of Brentwood, Grover Ave. offers unique design features and quality craftsmanship. Focusing on a well-thought-out color pallet, Unit A offers a “warm” finish boasting of earthy tones, while Unit B takes on the “cooler”, calming grey tones.

The 14ft vaulted ceilings create a spacious feel in the master bedrooms and contemporary fixtures throughout truly bring this townhome to life. Quality is always priority in our projects, which is why custom cabinetry, high-end quartz countertops and BERTAZZONI appliances were common details added to deliver a custom home.

Willow is a traditional, early 20th century Victorian home in the Holly neighborhood of East Austin. The project entailed a small addition to the rear of the house, extending the 1,300 square foot home by 250 sq ft. Years of leasing and neglect left the existing interior finishes in terrible shape, resulting in gutting and replacing the interior finishes, as well as restoring the old, wood windows on the side and rear of the home.

Originally a tiny 600 square foot cottage in the sought-after Clarksville Historic District, this house was transformed into a airy, light, and open 2,200 sf modern farmhouse – while still incorporating the original spirit of the 1920 structure. Combined with the talent of Element Five Architecture, this has become one of our favorite projects! Cost of construction, remodeling, and additions $250K-$500K.

After a decade of living in this 1996 Great Hills home, the homeowners wanted to transform the original space into a modern farmhouse dream. Located in an established neighborhood, Avenue B worked with designer
Patrice Rios Design to bring life back into the 1,847 SF residence with wide plank oak floors, a spacious gourmet kitchen and modern
lighting fixtures throughout. No detail went unnoticed with both bathrooms being carefully thought out by Austin local design company, Troo Designs. To complete the renovation, a durable, composite wood deck was built overlooking the backyard, providing an enjoyable entertaining space. Cost of construction & remodeling $250-$500K
