Southwest Corporation will be submitting a proposal to the City of Austin for the Vehicle Checkpoint C – Rebid, IFB 6100 CLMC1079A project. This project will be located at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and includes the installation of a prefabricated guard shack, concrete slab foundation, asphalt paving, roadway striping, airport security fencing with automatic gates, and new utility connections for water, wastewater, and telecommunications.

All City of Austin HUB Certified vendors and subcontractors are strongly encouraged to submit a proposal.

Please submit your proposals to our office no later than February 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM to allow sufficient time for incorporation into our proposal to the City.

Southwest Corporation is preparing a proposal for the City of Austin St. Elmo Vehicle Bays project. This project consists of the construction of three vehicle storage bay structures with pre-engineered metal building frame structural systems. Southwest Corporation would ask all qualified subcontractors and vendors to submit proposals for work on this project by close of business on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 to be included with our submission.

SOUTHWEST CORPORATION is accepting proposals for the ABIA Reconfigure Planning and Development Building REBID - 2716 Spirit of Texas Dr., Austin, TX 78719 CLMC1095A-REBID until 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 25, 2025.
Southwest Corporation is soliciting bids from all qualified subcontractors and vendors for this project. City of Austin MBE/WBE subcontractors and vendors are especially encouraged to submit bids.
This project encompasses the interior reconfiguration of the existing Planning and Development Building (P&D) at Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). The building was constructed in the 1980's and last renovated in 2013. The main scope is to open the west wing of the building to allow for ample open office space for better collaboration of airport design and construction teams. A new fire suppression sprinkler system (NFPA 13) will be installed throughout the entire building. Mechanical systems will be updated. Civil scope is limited to the addition of a new water supply to service the new fire Suppression system and restriping of minimal parking areas in order to comply with TAS 2012. Within the building the existing break room will be made larger. The existing kitchen and appliances will remain as is and will be for staff only. The existing vending machines (beverage and non-refrigerated snacks) shall be relocated as per plan.

Southwest Corporation is putting together bids for the City of Austin on the following projects :

WALLER CREEK CENTER 10th Floor and Atrium Renovation
CIP 3257.012 Solicitation No: CLMC1081
The Work consists of 2 components.
1. The 10th floor is vacant & was designed to accommodate a department no longer housed there. It will be completely renovated/ redesigned to specifically accommodate Austin Water
Personnel currently located elsewhere.
2. The Lobby was designed in the 1980’s when the building was constructed as a speculative office building. It will be renovated to exclusively serve the needs of Austin Water in function + appearance.

MOUNTED PATROL SITE IMPROVEMENT IFB 6100 CLMC1072
The Work consists of the demolition of 30 linear feet of existing PVC pipe, as well as the demolition and replacement of approximately 2,676 linear feet of fencing. The Work additionally consists of the mill and overlay of approximately 122,944 square feet of existing asphalt. Lastly, the Work consists of the complete construction of approximately 2,410 linear feet of stormwater main and appurtenances.

We encourage all City of Austin Certified Minority-owned and Women-owned Business to review the project documentation and join us in submitting a proposal to the City of Austin.

Both projects are scheduled to bid by 2:00 pm on March 6th, 2025 so we must receive all proposals for participation with Southwest Corporation by Wednesday March 5th by 2:00 pm to be included with our proposal to the City.

SCOPE OF WORK: The Work of this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the installation of erosion controls, tree protection, temporary construction fencing, general and fine grading, construction of 950 linear feet of right‐ of‐ way sidewalk, construction of 0.3‐ miles of pavement trail, 12” tall stone retaining wall, (2) 10 foot wide by 10 foot long concrete low water crossings, bank stabilization, wetland mitigation plantings, water tap and drinking fountain installation, bike racks, and picnic tables.
