Key Responsibilities
Project Ex*****on: Complete a wide variety of handyman and home improvement tasks, including:
Installing ceiling fans and light fixtures
Faucet replacements and minor plumbing updates
Furniture assembly and custom builds
General repairs, flooring, drywall, finish carpentry, painting, and tile work
Equipment Management: Safely organize, maintain, and manage the tools and equipment needed for daily tasks.
Client Service: Interact directly with clients, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication.
Brand Ambassador: Positively represent House Doctors in the local community and network with prospective clients as opportunities arise.
Skills & Requirements
Experience: 2+ years of hands-on construction or handyman experience (preference given to candidates skilled in ceiling fan/light installations, basic plumbing fixtures, furniture assembly, finish carpentry, texturing, and tile work).
Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of handyman principles, techniques, safety, and equipment.
Physical Capability: Ability to handle physical labor, including heavy lifting (50+ lbs), bending, and standing for extended periods.
Basic Tech Skills: Comfortable learning and operating basic computer programs and scheduling systems.
Mindset & Soft Skills: Highly dependable, possess a strong work ethic, and bring a warm, customer-focused attitude to every job site.
Must Have: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
