Good afternoon friends we are thrilled to announce our featured Pool Company Watercolor Pools!!!
Watercolor Pools is a custom gunite swimming pool builder serving Central Texas homeowners and commercial properties with design-driven, structurally sound pools built for the long haul. Founded in late summer 2021 by owner Bryson Jones after more than four and a half years in pool construction and service, the company was created to bring higher communication, cleaner job sites, and more thoughtful design to the Austin and Central Texas market.
In October 2022, Bryson partnered with experienced and multifaceted entrepreneur Bill Conlon, expanding Watercolor Pools’ leadership and capacity while keeping day-to-day involvement at the owner level on every project. Since then, the team has steadily delivered approximately 20–30 custom pools per year, focusing on quality over volume and building long-term relationships with their clients.
Watercolor Pools specializes in custom gunite swimming pools across a wide price range, from efficient, well-planned backyards to larger, resort-style environments. While the original concept was to stay focused on smaller pools, the firm’s design-forward approach naturally shifted toward larger, more modern, architecturally coordinated projects that integrate clean lines, elevated details, and functional outdoor living.
In 2025, Watercolor Pools expanded into commercial work, adding the ability to take on hospitality and venue projects alongside its residential portfolio. A recent milestone is the completion of the pool at The Laiken wedding venue in Lago Vista, which stands as the company’s largest and most complex pool to date and showcases its ability to coordinate with other trades, manage larger scopes, and deliver on a strict schedule.
Watercolor Pools is a strong fit for homeowners and developers who value clean, modern design, clear communication, and a builder who is present from design through final start-up. The company is best suited for clients seeking custom gunite construction rather than package pools, especially those looking for a primary contractor to guide them through design, engineering, permitting, and construction in one cohesive process.
