You know you're a civil engineer when a simple walk turns into a full site inspection. 😂

Most people see a cracked sidewalk and keep moving.

Meanwhile, we are over here wondering:
✅ What caused the crack?
✅ Is it shrinkage, settlement, or freeze-thaw damage?
✅ How's the drainage?
✅ Has anyone documented this?
✅ Should I be worried about the subgrade?

It's a blessing and a curse. We can't just "see" infrastructure anymore. We analyze it.

To everyone else, it's a crack.
