One family. Three transformed spaces 🏡✨

After completing their hall and primary bathroom remodels, Shane and Roby came back to J&J to transform their Aurora kitchen.

By removing an underused dining room wall, we nearly doubled the kitchen’s size without expanding the home’s footprint. Custom two-tone cabinetry, Cambria quartz countertops, high-end appliances, heated floors, and thoughtful storage turned it into a beautiful, functional space designed for everyday family life.

A kitchen that feels too cramped. Outdated designs. Old appliances.

These were the issues a retired Naperville couple were facing in their home, and it’s a common experience for many homeowners in Illinois.

Their kitchen had so much unused potential. Together, we reimagined what it could look like: opening up the layout for a better connection to the dining room, and moving the awkward sink and dishwasher placement to the island. The cabinets and counters got a makeover, and a tile backsplash created a focal point that stands out enough to notice without hogging all the attention.
