Most people will never spend time inside this building.

But the firefighters and first responders who do will rely on it every day as they serve the Town of Clinton.

We're grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Town of Clinton to deliver a facility built to support those who dedicate themselves to protecting this community.

Strong communities are built by people who choose to serve others. Thank you, Clinton Fire & Rescue, for your commitment to the Town of Clinton. Congratulations on your new station.

At Blane Casey Contractors, we believe some of the most meaningful projects are the ones that strengthen the communities we call home.

We are honored to serve as the general contractor for a portion of Phase 1 of the Skowhegan Riverfront Project, including construction of the New Balance Foundation Boardwalk. This investment will help reconnect downtown Skowhegan with the Kennebec River, creating an accessible public space where residents and visitors can gather, explore, and enjoy the waterfront for years to come.

It was a privilege to welcome Senator Susan Collins to the groundbreaking ceremony and to see her touring the site alongside our team—complete with a BCBC hard hat and safety vest! We appreciate her longstanding commitment to investing in Maine communities and helping make transformative projects like this possible.

Thank you to Main Street Skowhegan, The New Balance Foundation, Senator Collins, Senator Angus King, local officials, project partners, and everyone who has worked to bring this vision to life. We're proud that our team can play a small part in a project that will have such a lasting impact on Skowhegan.

We're excited to continue the work ahead and invite you to read and share Senator Collins' post below!

We’re incredibly honored to be featured in the latest yearbook from Temple Academy alongside photos of the completed space and students returning for their first day back to school, where the Academy recognized both our team and the subcontractors who helped make the project possible during their back-to-school celebration.

One of the most rewarding parts of this project was seeing the space come to life, not just as a completed renovation, but filled with students, energy, and excitement as they returned to the space.

Temple Academy shared:
“...we also extend our sincere appreciation to our donors and contractors whose generosity, support, and hard work help provide the facilities, resources, and opportunities that strengthen our school and benefit every student.”

We’re grateful to have played a role in a project that will serve students and staff for years to come. A huge thank you as well to the incredible subcontractors, vendors, and project partners whose craftsmanship, teamwork, and dedication helped make this project possible. It truly takes an entire team to bring spaces like this to life.

Today we pause to acknowledge the tragic loss of two Maine Department of Transportation workers.

While our work does not take place in bridge or roadway construction, we are part of the same construction community, and losses like this are felt across our industry. These men and women go to work each day to build, maintain, and improve the infrastructure that keeps our communities moving, often in high-risk environments.

Moments like this are a sobering reminder of why safety must always come first. No deadline, no schedule, and no project is more important than a person going home safely at the end of the day.

Our thoughts are with the families, coworkers, and loved ones affected by this loss. We remain committed to reinforcing a culture where safety is never optional, and where looking out for one another is a shared responsibility.

Everyone deserves to make it home.
