This flour will last 15 years! Instructions...freeze flour in bags from store over night to kill bugs.. yes flour cam have bugs.. clean jars lids rims well no need to sanitize..dry well..fill jars add 700cc oxy absorbers I get mine from harvest right.. wipe rims well to ensure no flour and you can get a tight seal... Put on lids and tighten well.. if jars don't seal within a few hours take off lid and wipe everything well again to make sure tight seal... And try again... I also use the vaccume sealer lid attachment and that will also take oxygen out and seal lid

Best Scalloped Potatoes
Ingredients
3 pounds potatoes, thinly sliced
½ onion, thinly sliced
9 tablespoons all-purpose flour, divided
6 tablespoons butter, diced and divided
salt and ground black pepper to taste
3 cups whole milk, or as needed
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Spread about 1/3 of the potato slices into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Top with about 1/3 of the onion slices. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons flour over the potato and onion. Arrange 2 tablespoons butter atop the flour. Season the entire layer with salt and pepper. Repeat layering twice more.

Heat milk in a saucepan until warm. Pour enough warm milk over the mixture in the baking dish so the top of the liquid is level with the final layer of potatoes.

Bake in the preheated oven until potatoes are tender, 45 to 60 minutes.

Banana Bread Brownies with Pecans and Brown Butter Frosting

Ingredients:

Brownies:

2 eggs
1 ½ cups white sugar
1 cup regular sour cream
1 stick unsalted butter (room temp)
3 large ripe bananas (mashed)
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
¾ tsp kosher salt
2 cups pecans (chopped)
Frosting:

½ cup unsalted butter
3 cups powdered sugar
1 ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
3 tbsp whole milk
Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Prep a 9 x 13 inch baking pan with nonstick baking spray. Line the baking pan with parchment paper and spray the parchment paper with the nonstick baking spray. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, sour cream, butter, and eggs. Use an electric mixer to combine the ingredients until well blended.

Add the mashed bananas and vanilla extract to the large mixing bowl. Mix until all ingredients are combined.

In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to the wet ingredients and stir to mix.

Stir in the chopped pecans. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.

Bake at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.

To make the frosting, brown the butter in a heavy skillet on medium heat until it has a nutty scent. Pour the melted butter into a bowl and add powdered sugar one cup at a time, stirring immediately after each addition. Add milk and vanilla extract, and use an electric mixer to blend everything.

Once the brownies have cooled, spread the frosting over the top. Cut into bars and serve.
