What do you do when your boiler fails you on a Friday night? Install a temporary water heater (not install quality) to get the customer by till we can install a new boiler for them. This is just one of many reasons to get your oil boiler or furnace cleaned yearly. This is the strainer on your fuel pump. If continued use with it like this it would end up haveing no heat or wasting oil which we all know price of oil is extremely expensive and is something we shouldn't be wasting. As we all know our basments take on water from time to time. If your main shut off rust and you can't turn off your water it can cause many issues. Most towns have a code that you need a back flow preventer near your water meter.
