At Cascade Elementary, our field team faced the challenge of getting large HVAC equipment up a steep set of stairs and into the attic. Their solution? Rigging an entire motor-powered system to safely move the equipment into place.

This is just one example of the problem-solving and ingenuity our field teams bring to every project. We’re proud of our capable team for thinking outside the box and finding a way to get the job done safely and efficiently.

Auburn Mechanical is proud to have contributed to Forest Trailhead at Woodland Park Zoo where our team installed specialized plumbing systems designed to support a variety of habitats. From maintaining the ideal conditions for species like the blue-speckled tree monitor to creating a self-filling water feeder system for the kea parrots, every detail was built with the animals' needs in mind.

Visitors to Forest Trailhead can also see red pandas and tree kangaroos, making it an exciting new addition to the zoo. We're grateful to have been part of a project that combines engineering, innovation, and conservation in such a meaningful way.

Our annual company BBQ was a success! Thank you to everyone who came out, enjoyed some great food, and spent time together. We’re grateful for the people who make Auburn Mechanical such a great team, and we always enjoy the opportunity to step away from the jobsite and celebrate together.

Thanks to all volunteers who helped make this year’s BBQ such a great time! We’re already looking forward to next year! 🙌

The Auburn Mechanical team had a great time participating in the BNBuilders Charity Softball Tournament—and we're excited to say we brought home the championship! 🏆🥎

A big thank you to BNBuilders for organizing another fantastic tournament and to all the teams and volunteers who made the day such a success. We appreciate the opportunity to be part of it and are already looking forward to next year!

We're happy to announce our newest Project Engineer, Taylor Gordon! Read a bit more about her here:

Taylor Gordon began her career in the mechanical industry immediately after high school and has gained experience on a wide range of projects, including healthcare facilities, schools, restaurants, and tenant improvements. While working full time for a mechanical contractor, she earned her Construction Management degree from National American University in 2025, applying what she learned in the classroom directly to real-world projects. Coming from a family with deep roots in the plumbing industry, Taylor was especially inspired by the opportunity to work alongside her father, whose leadership and career progression helped shape her passion for construction. She is excited to be part of the Auburn Mechanical team and looks forward to building strong relationships, continuing to grow professionally, and contributing to successful projects.

As a woman-owned company, we especially appreciate organizations like The Pro Shop that are creating more opportunities for women to connect and lead. The Pro Shop helps create a more welcoming and inclusive golf community by empowering women through networking, mentorship, and professional growth. We're grateful to be part of an event that brings people together while advancing such an important mission.

Auburn Mechanical ran a Subcontractor Submittal Training alongside Korsmo Construction. The class was a success with over 40 people learning how to optimize their submittals with the goal of making them efficient and easy to read. Keep an eye out for future class signups as we will be running it again. Huge thanks to Kyle Fickes and Mike Willis for presenting!
