Safety starts with communication, understanding, and a commitment to looking out for one another.
Our team recently came together for a Spanish Safety Training Day led by Safety Manager Elena Quiroz, who focused on important jobsite topics, including fall protection, stairways and ladders, hazard communication, and proper PPE. Through hands-on demonstrations, inspections, and open discussion, team members had the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge and reinforce safe practices they can carry with them every day.
We also took the opportunity to refresh essential PPE, including hard hats, safety glasses, high-visibility vests, fall protection equipment, and even new work boots. Providing safety training in Spanish helps ensure our team members can fully engage with the information, ask questions, and better understand the practices that help everyone go home safely.
