A home office that makes working from home feel a little more inspiring. 🌿

What started as a blank corner became a workspace designed to feel like it had always belonged here 🏡

It’s all in the details. Sage green cabinetry, warm brass hardware, and botanical wallpaper bring color, pattern, and a little personality to this custom workspace 🤍

Swipe to see how an empty room became this custom home library + office in Sammamish, WA. 🤍

Our client wanted more than a home office. They envisioned a dedicated library that could be a place to work, read, and slow down, so we transformed what was once a mostly blank room into a space filled with architectural character.

Inspired by the classic Adam Style, the design was built around a custom fireplace mantel and layered outward from there. Floor-to-ceiling built-ins wrap the room in soft sage green, while floral wallpaper, crown molding, brass library lights, and traditional detailing give the new space a sense of history. A custom upholstered reading bench adds a cozy place to linger while hidden drawers underneath make every inch work harder. And that might be our favorite part of this before & after: almost everything you see in the finished room had to be intentionally designed into a space that started with very little architectural identity.

Now it feels like the library was always meant to be here. 🤍📚

Playing with shape + texture is where this mid-century bathroom gets interesting. 🌿

Rather than relying on one statement finish, we layered several, each bringing something different to the space while still connecting back to the overall design.

The oversized circles in Livette's Wallpaper Retro Chic wallpaper bring in the playful geometry that makes mid-century design so recognizable. Below, glossy sage Statements Tile & Stone shifts that pattern into a long rectangular form, creating contrast in both shape and scale while carrying the green palette through the room.

The rounded silhouette of the West Elm Frida Fluted Mirror echoes the curves in the wallpaper, while its fluted wood frame introduces warmth and a completely different texture.

That warmth continues through the Kohler wall-mounted faucet in Brushed Bronze, which stands out beautifully against the cooler sage tones. MSI Surfaces Calacatta Miraggio Duo quartz gives the eye a quieter place to land, with subtle veining that adds movement without competing with the bolder finishes around it.

It’s a mix of opposites that somehow feels completely at home together:

• Curves against clean lines
• Glossy tile against fluted wood
• Bold pattern against subtle veining
• Warm bronze against cool sage

And that’s really the key to mixing materials successfully. Not everything has to match. In fact, some of the most interesting spaces come from letting finishes contrast while creating smaller connections between color, shape, scale and texture.

The wallpaper speaks to the mirror. The sage tile pulls from the pattern. The wood and brushed bronze bring warmth to the cooler greens. Each selection has its own personality, but none of them feel like they’re fighting for attention.

The result feels collected rather than coordinated, and distinctly its own.

Because a well-designed bathroom shouldn’t feel like everything came from the same collection. It should feel like every piece was chosen for a reason. 🌿

This kitchen is one we’ll be thinking about for a long time. 🤎

Rather than starting over, our client wanted their home remodel to feel like it had always belonged here. For their kitchen, our designer Genessa, expanded the existing footprint, bringing in more light, better flow, and thoughtful storage while preserving the warmth and personality that made this mid-century modern home so special.

Alder stained cabinetry, handcrafted green tile, quartz countertops, and terrazzo-inspired flooring create a palette that feels timeless and unique instead of trendy.
It’s the kind of remodel that quietly transforms the way you live without losing the story of the home. 🤍

Mid-Century Modern bathroom design details we can’t stop thinking about. ✨

• Vertical wood slat feature wall
• Soft blue Ceramic tile
• Terrazzo flooring
• Sculptural lighting
• Spa-inspired layout
• Frameless glass shower
• Quartz countertops
• Ch*****ne bronze fixtures
• Freestanding soaking tub

When every material complements the next, the entire space feels effortless. It’s a reminder that great design isn’t about one standout feature. It’s about how every detail works together.

Who doesn’t love a good before & after? ✨

Swipe to see this 1966 mid-century modern home transformed from dark and dated into a warm, light-filled retreat.

Rather than erase the home’s character, we leaned into it. Original details like the slatted pocket doors inspired custom millwork throughout the home, while rich alder cabinetry, playful tile, and thoughtful material selections brought a fresh perspective to the home’s mid-century roots.

This full first-floor remodel included a completely reimagined kitchen, living room, dining area, guest bathroom, and primary suite. Every space was designed to feel connected, creating a home that’s brighter, more functional, and full of personality without losing what made it special in the first place.

The result is a timeless remodel that honors the original architecture while making everyday living feel entirely new. 🤍🌲

The graphic wallpaper sets the tone for this mid-century modern bathroom, with oversized circles that bring rhythm and movement to the space. ✨

That playful geometry is echoed throughout the design, from the sculptural mirrors and globe pendants to the clean lines of the wall-mounted faucets. Paired with warm walnut cabinetry and rich green tile, the result feels both nostalgic and fresh.

A nod to mid-century modern design without feeling stuck in the past. 🤍

Save these kitchen details for later 🤍

This Auburn kitchen remodel was designed around timeless materials, thoughtful functionality, and the little details that make a home feel cohesive.

Leathered Taj Mahal quartzite anchors the kitchen, wrapping the countertops, island, and range wall with soft movement and warmth. To create continuity between the kitchen and living room, we carried the same quartzite onto the fireplace surround, tying the spaces together in a way that feels intentional and effortless.

Other details we love: a custom metal range hood with brass detailing, rift white oak cabinetry, integrated appliance storage, a panel-ready ice maker, a microwave lift cabinet, and a custom fireplace mantel designed to complement the kitchen finishes.
