Facility Janitorial Job
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic professional to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our commercial facility. The role is vital in ensuring all spaces are hygienic, well-organized, and presentable for staff, visitors, and clients alike. The ideal candidate will being a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and strong work ethic to keep our facility in top condition.
Duties
•Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
•Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning to ensure a clean appearance
•Handle waste disposal and recycling efficiently across all areas
•Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards
•Assist with light custodial tasks such as window washing and surface sanitation
•Support maintenance activities including cutting grass, w**deating, snow shoveling, etc. around facility
•Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to ensure a secure environment for everyone.
Qualifications
•Valid NYS Drivers License
•Janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial setting preferred
•Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
•Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast paced environment
•Ability to operate equipment such as lawnmower, and w**d eater
•Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time.
