⚾ Proud to Support Saugahatchee Baseball! ⚾

At Prewett Pest, we believe in investing in our community and the next generation of leaders!

We were proud to make a donation to Saugahatchee Baseball, an organization focused on developing young athletes both on and off the field.

Their commitment to teamwork, character, accountability, and personal growth aligns with the values we believe in at PPC.

We’re excited to play a small part in helping these young athletes grow, compete, and succeed!

⚾ Keep working hard, boys! We’re cheering you on!

Friday afternoon, our East Alabama team kicked off September with a little football-season fun. 🏈

After a strong August, we turned our monthly kickoff meeting into a tailgate with pizza, snacks, and a chance to celebrate some great performances from the team.

We recognized Matthew for an outstanding month in the field and for leading our outside sales team in August. Also, a big congratulations to Drew for joining the Century Club💯 after helping more than 100 customers get started with service through our inside sales team in August.

Proud of the work this team continues to put in and excited to carry that momentum into September.

Leadership Starts in the Field

Rusty originally focused on Prewett Pest Control’s marketing, sales, and company culture—but he knew that truly understanding the business meant experiencing the work firsthand.

During a technician shortage, he ran pest control routes in Auburn, Huntsville, and Tuscaloosa—even on football Saturdays. That time in the field gave him a firsthand look at the challenges service professionals face and revealed opportunities to improve routing and efficiency.

Better systems support happier technicians—and better service for every Prewett customer.

From a Journal Entry to Nearly 4,000 Five-Star Reviews

Prewett Pest Control began as an idea Rusty wrote in his journal and shared with his family in 2019. Just months later, the pandemic hit—but the company still launched in Auburn in 2020.

Since then, Prewett has expanded into Baldwin County, West Georgia, and North Alabama while surpassing 1,000 customers, exceeding $1 million in annual revenue, and earning nearly 4,000 five-star Google reviews.

Now, the theme for 2026 is “Level Up”—challenging the entire team to create an even better experience for customers and employees.

Liquid vs. Granular Pest Control: What’s the Difference?

A liquid application provides immediate protection around your home, while a moisture-activated granular treatment delivers longer-lasting pest control.

Prewett Pest Control applies both treatments to combine fast results with extended protection—helping keep pests away longer.
