The life of a roofer:
Early mornings loading heavy bundles of shingles onto the truck. Climbing ladders with 70+ pounds on your shoulder while the roof pitch fights you every step.
Hours in the blazing sun or freezing wind, nailing one shingle after another—back aching, knees sore, hands calloused. Safety harness tugging as you move across steep slopes, always one careful step from the edge.
Tearing off old, worn roofs full of surprises (rotted decking, hidden leaks). Then building it back stronger, knowing it’ll shield a family for decades.
It’s tough, physical work that demands respect for heights, weather, and precision. But at the end of the day, you walk off a solid, watertight roof and know you made a real difference.
That’s the roofer’s life—one bundle, one nail, one roof at a time.
