Last week, CCS hosted Kaitlyn Twidwell from Eagle Industries at our Auburn Hills office so she could teach our team about scaffolding tarps, safety nets, and shrink wrap!

The primary purpose of scaffolding is safety, and coverings like netting, shrink wrap, and tarps make scaffolding even safer. Netting helps mitigate the danger of falling debris generated during construction and protects pedestrians and workers alike on job sites. Products like tarps and shrink wrap also help prevent falling debris as well as offering a containment system for dust and protection from the wind, rain, and sun.

CCS team members gained insight into where each product delivered the best results and how to efficiently install these accessories.

We are looking for experience in metal stud framing, drywall installation, ceiling systems, and general trades carpentry, along with proven leadership skills to oversee crews and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

This summer, Clark interns participated in their yearly Living Our Values event! We went out to the VFW National Home in Eaton Rapids to do some landscaping.

Team Brick tackled the challenge of laying down decorative pavers in what will be a brand new flag pole display in a roundabout. This group worked tirelessly to level out the ground, grade a layer of sand, and then install 6 rows of pavers in the roundabout.

Team Mulch spent their day pulling weeds and laying mulch around the early childhood learning center, health & education Center, and WW2 monument. All three of these locations had weeds removed and a brand new layer of mulch put down.

The VFW National Home provides support to veterans and their families by giving them a safe, stable place to live and the resources they need to recover, heal, and move forward. Clark is honored to volunteer our time to this establishment and community.

Clark Contracting Services proudly hosted our 3rd Annual Charity Walleye Tournament in support of Passing Along The Heritage (PATH), bringing together employees, clients, partners, and sponsors for a day of friendly competition, connection, and giving back.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone involved, this year's tournament raised more than $11,000 for PATH — the most we've ever raised through this event.

PATH is dedicated to providing outdoor experiences and mentorship opportunities that help pass along our natural heritage to future generations, making this cause especially meaningful to all who participated.

Congratulations to our tournament winners, and thank you to everyone who fished, volunteered, sponsored, and supported this year's event. Together, we continue to demonstrate the power of partnership, community involvement, and giving back.

Congratulations to John Sullivan on his graduation from the Carpenters International Training Fund Superintendent Career Training Program!

In 18 months, John took four trips to Las Vegas for in-person training and completed separate on-site curriculum. He gained insights into the field of construction like cutting-edge technologies, communication and management skills, and the roles and responsibilities of a superintendent that will be invaluable on the job-site.

Our CCS team was out at Comerica Park this weekend for the Making the Cut Hiring Event alongside the Northern Midwest Regional Council of Carpenters.

It was a great opportunity to connect with future skilled trades professionals, share information about careers in construction, and support workforce development across our region. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to meet the team and learn more about opportunities in the industry.
